I was here for the growing pains. I am mostly here for the ball.
Morale, mainly. Also quality control on naps, and making sure nobody sits at a computer for six hours without being told.
Around four in the afternoon I start the campaign: stand by the desk, get up on my two feet and reach for my mom and dad. It works most days.
Mom and Dad adopted me from a friend in July 2022, around the time CRE8R was working out of its first office in Pleasant Hill.
I had been coming by before that, since my first owner would bring me along. So by the time it was official, I already knew where the good couch was.
Morning walk, then breakfast, then a long nap while they work. I have found this to be the correct order.
Afternoon is when I get antsy, and that is when I remind them to go outside. Later there is another walk and the dog park. At night I FaceTime my aunt and my grandma.
Step away from the computer once in a while.
Go outside. Throw the ball. Come back better.
I have been around for the early days and the hard ones, and I have kept these two going through a few of each.
I am not the strategy or the camera. I am the reason they get up from the desk.
Someone has to be.
